Rule #1- Avoid "white" carbohydrates
- NO bread
- NO rice
- NO cereal
- NO potatoes
- NO pasta
- NO breaded fried food
Rule #2- Eat meals consisting of these components:
- PROTEINS:
- Egg whites with one whole egg for flavor
- Chicken breast or thigh
- Tilapia, salmon, etc.
- Pork
- LEGUMES:
- Lentils
- Black beans
- Pinto beans
- VEGETABLES:
- Spinach
- Asparagus
- Peas
- Mixed vegetables
- Sweet potatoes
- FRUIT!
*Breakfast and dinner should be no more than twelve hours apart.
Rule #3- Don't drink calories
- Drink massive quantities of water and things like unsweetened iced tea, tea, diet sodas, and coffee (without white cream).
- Do NOT drink milk, normal soft drinks, fruit juice, or massive quantities of alcohol.
*We would like to make a note that we are all supplementing our diet with a multivitamin of our choice.
Rule #4- Take one day off per week
Eat whatever you want to and don't work out one day a week. Eat ice cream, go to a restaurant and eat so much that you won't want to look at sugar or grease the rest of the week.
And remember: we are in this together. Losing weight is a choice and we need to believe in each other and ourselves!
